In Daredevil S1E2:
Karen is struggling to cope with her recent trauma, so Foggy takes her out for the night in Hell’s Kitchen. Meanwhile, Matt’s busy dying in a dumpster. He’s found by ER nurse and good Samaritan Claire Temple. Reluctantly, she patches up the masked vigilante in her apartment. Matt explains that the Russians kidnapped a boy as a trap to lure Matt. He fell for the gambit, but escaped after a bad beating. On orders from Union Allied, the Russians pursue Matt to Claire’s apartment. Matt incapacitates the goon, and with Claire’s invaluable assistance, tortures him for information. Practically right next door, Foggy & Karen are enjoying their drunken revelry. Matt rescues the abducted boy in the most epic manner possible, and the Russians scramble to appease Wilson Fisk.
